Creative Publishing is a Ukrainian publisher of premium gift books on contemporary Ukrainian creative culture: art, design, photography, fashion, and crafts. International partners include teNeues and gestalten; books are represented at the Royal Academy of Arts and other leading cultural institutions worldwide.



Brief description: The site was built on Elementor with a large number of commercial plugins for multilingual support and WooCommerce extensions. Over time this became a critical issue: subscriptions required constant renewal, plugins conflicted with each other and generated errors. Some plugins stopped receiving updates altogether, others would break the entire site after updating, creating a direct security threat. Page load speed degraded significantly.



Work done: The decision was made to do a full refactor. The site was rebuilt on WordPress Gutenberg + WooCommerce with a minimal plugin footprint. Custom solutions were developed for multilingual support, mega menu, WooCommerce product page, and a combined cart and checkout on a single page. All errors were resolved, load speed and stability were significantly improved. The result is a modern, maintainable platform that matches the quality of the publications it represents.
